A Dermatology Clinic

Our client, a Dermatology Clinic is seeking to fill the position of Clinic Manager.  

 JOB SUMMARY

The Clinic Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the clinic, ensuring the highest quality of patient care, managing the administrative and medical staff, and driving business growth. This role involves strategic planning, resource management, and the implementation of clinic policies and procedures to maximize sales and enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Clinic Operations Management

  • Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning of the clinic.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimise clinic performance.
  • Manage the performance of multiple teams, coordinating each team’s efforts and output to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business goals.

Sales Strategy and Planning

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet organisational goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Set sales targets, monitor performance, and adjust strategies as needed.

Staff Management and Human Resources

  • Recruit, train, supervise and evaluate clinic staff, including administrative and medical teams.

Patient Care and Experience

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Address patient inquiries, complaints, and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient satisfaction and retention.

Financial Management

  • Monitor financial performance and implement measures to achieve financial targets.
  • Analyse sales data and provide regular reports to senior management.

Marketing and Business Development

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns to attract and retain patients.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for business growth and expansion.

Technology and Systems Management

  • Liaise with outsourced technicians to facilitate periodic equipment maintenance.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in sales, with at least two (2) years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Experience in healthcare management would be an asset.
