With the 4th Industrial Revolution signalling disruption and change at every corner, more and more firms are considering Digital Transformation as a source of competitive advantage and even sustainability. However, the mere implementation of these technologies is not enough. There needs to be, as the name implies, a Transformation in a firm’s business processes via the leveraging of technology. Research by Bain & Co shows that only a mere 8% of Digital Transformation initiatives are successful and they highlight four myths that can thwart the success of such undertakings.
